Modern Mitzvah is returning to work soon! I've been out on maternity leave, soaking up this special time with our newest little one, Maya. It's been an absolute whirwind welcoming this little girl, adjusting to being a family of four, and introducing her to friends and family the past few weeks. I made sure to sneak in this newborn shoot by the talented Ashley Flug Photography while Maya is still tiny. Local AZ folks, she was wonderful to work with and super patient with Maya's multiple spit ups, our toddler's stubborness and our rambunctious dog who tried to steal the show...thank you Ashley for capturing our family!
Last time I was on maternity leave, I designed a line of Jewish art and stationery and launched an entire company. This time around I've managed to...well, keep the kids alive. It is a whole different ball game with a 3.5 year old at home!
So many friends and family both locally and out of town have been by to drop off meals, lend us a hand, and love on baby—-we are feeling so incredibly loved, and grateful for our family and community. We are feeling ALL THE LOVE.
At the same time, we're missing the grind a little bit and are excited to get back to work this April, just in time for Passover. We have big things planned for 2022 that we can't wait to share with you. See you soon!
